Goals 

Help Feed a Senior by supporting the Meals on Wheels Program.  The goal of the Tulare Meals on Wheels program is to deliver nutritious meals to Tulare’s homebound senior citizens to assist them to live independently in their homes. 

Tulare Meals on Wheels Program 

A steadily increasing demand for meals, along with increased costs for food, paper goods, and fuel, has left the Tulare Senior Center struggling to provide one of its most essential services - meals for hungry seniors.  Each day many Tulare Seniors must choose between food and other necessities such as rent, utilities, and medication. 

Donations

The Tulare Senior Center is seeking donations to offset these increased costs so that we can continue the "Feed A Senior" program.  Through your donations, we will be able to continue providing seniors one hot, nutritional meal daily delivered directly to their home in Tulare.

Donations in any amount are appreciated. 

Suggested donations for Feed a Senior

  • One Week = $23.00
  • One Month = $90.00
  • Three Months = $293.00
  • Six Months = $585.00
  • One Year = $1,170.00

Meals on Wheels Donation Form

Donations are tax-deductible.  Donors are thanked publicly (unless requested to be anonymous) on our Facebook page and in our monthly newsletter that is delivered to 200 local seniors, churches, and service groups.  You may make donations in memory of someone, in honor of someone, or to celebrate any special occasion (anniversaries, birthdays).  A handwritten note is also mailed to announce the donation and lists the donor’s information so that family may send a thank-you note.

Volunteer

The Tulare Senior Center is always in need of volunteers to help in the kitchen or to help deliver meals.
