Request Free Tree Inspection

We frequently receive requests from property owners to inspect trees located in the parkway (public right-of-way) due to poor tree condition, diseased trees, or tree roots are causing damage to sidewalks, curb, gutters, driveways or sprinkler systems. You can request an inspection of your parkway tree free-of-charge by completing the Parkway Tree Service Request form. The Parks staff will inspect the tree and we will advise if the property owner can remove. If approved, a no-fee permit will be issued.

Approved Street Tree List

In some cases, the property owner may be required to replace the tree with an approved street tree. An approved street tree list will be provided to the property owner. It is the responsibility of the property owner to maintain all trees located within the parkway area (between sidewalk and curb).

Landscape Design and Construction Standards
