Group Lessons

• PARENT AND TOT 
  • (Open to all parents and toddlers ages 18 months-3 years)   This class is designed to have an interactive parent and child swim lesson. These lessons will expose your child to being in the water all while in the safety of their parent's arms. Children will learn water safety skills and practice safe and positive water skills.

• HOT TOTS    
  •  (Ages 3-5)  Hot Tots is a class designed to give toddlers the fundamentals they will need to progress in swimming. The goal is to give them the confidence to swim on their own all while learning to hold their breath, use their arms and legs and feel comfortable being on their tummy and back in the water.

• LEVEL 1    
  • This class is open to all children and is based on swim ability.  Level 1 is for older kids with little to no swim experience, but who are ready to learn to swim. Taking the basic fundamentals and learning how to apply them in the water - breath holding, buoyancy and learning to incorporate the movement of their arms and legs.

• LEVEL 2
  • This class is open to all children and is based on swim ability.  Must possess skills acquired in level 1.  This class is for kids with some water skills, but still need that additional guidance and support with their basic skills. This class will provide additional help with the development of their buoyancy, front to back transitions, gliding and using their arms and legs.

• LEVEL 3  
  • This class is open to all children and is based on swim ability.  This class is open to kids who can swim 25 yards utilizing a stroke style technique and controlled breathing. This level will assist in the development of endurance and refining some of the basic swimming and stroke techniques.

• LEVEL 4
  • This class is open to all children and is based on swim ability.  This level allows for kids to learn the fundamentals of each stroke with the introduction of the finer points that are involved with each stroke. The development of stroke technique, breathing and kicking.

• LEVEL 5 
  • This class is for stroke refinement, introduction into diving and competitive water entry techniques.

Class Fees

Group Lessons - $55.00 for 2 weeks 

2nd Family Member - $53.00 for 2 weeks

Session Dates - 2024

All sessions are at the same time each day, Monday - Friday for 2 weeks.

• Session I - June 10- June 21
• Session II - June 24 - July 5    (swim lessons are held on July 4)
• Session III - July 8 - July 19

Private Swim Lessons

Private lessons are open to children 2 years of age and older and adults ages 18 and over at any swim level.  This is a 1-week, one-on-one instructional class. 

Session Dates - 2024

All sessions are at the same time each day, Monday - Friday for 1 week. Sessions for Summer 2024: 

• June 10 - June 14
• June 17 - June 21
• June 24 - June 28
• July 1 - July 5  (swimming lessons are held on 4th of July)
• July 8 - July 12
• July 15 - July 19

* Private swim lessons registration is available via Active online registration beginning April 15.

Private Lesson Fees

• $80.00 for one week

Semi-Private Fees

• $80.00 for one week per child (up to 3 children per household)

Splashball (Jr. Waterpolo)

Ages 7-12

Splashball is a USA Water Polo sanctioned program that is designed to introduce the sport of water polo to kids ages 7-12. It will introduce the basics of the sport, get kids excited to play as they get older, and it also keeps kids active and healthy!
