Concussion Protocols apply to athletes participating in youth sports organizations in which persons 17 years of age and younger participate in baseball, basketball, bicycle motocross (BMX), boxing, competitive cheerleading, diving, equestrian activities, field hockey, football, full contact martial arts, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, parkour, rodeo, roller derby, rugby, skateboarding, skiing, soccer, softball, surfing, swimming, synchronized swimming, volleyball, water polo, or wrestling.
Parents, please read the Concussion Fact Sheet thoroughly. You will be asked to sign the form for most youth sports activities upon registration.
Afterschool Basketball
Students in grades 4th-6th are encouraged to join the Parks and Recreation Department's afterschool basketball league. Students attending any Tulare City Schools elementary school, as well as Sundale, St. Aloysius, Buena Vista, Oak Valley, and Palo Verde schools are eligible to participate in this program. Practices are held only on Tulare City Schools campuses.
REGISTRATION
Please register online at Active Net Registration . Registrations are also taken in person at Recreation Department office at 830 S. Blackstone Street. Registrations will NOT be accepted on school campuses.

LOCATIONS
Alpine Vista, Cypress, Garden, Heritage/Los Tules, Lincoln, Mission Valley, Mulcahy/RooseveltPRACTICES
Held on school campuses at above schools only beginning January 18 from 3:30-5:00 pm. Each team practices two days per week (Tuesdays/Thursdays) on school campuses. Roosevelt students will practice at Mulcahy and Los Tules students will practice at Heritage.GAMES
Saturday mornings at Tulare Union East Gym on January 27, February 3, 10, 17 and a season ending tournament on February 24, 2024. Schedules including game times will be handed out to players at practice.
Afterschool Soccer
The Parks and Recreation Department encourages Tulare's 4th-6th grade boys and girls to participate in our afterschool soccer league. Students attending any Tulare City Schools elementary school, in addition to Sundale, St. Aloysius, Buena Vista, Oak Valley, and Palo Verde schools are eligible to participate in this program. Practices are held only on Tulare City Schools campuses.
