Business Tax Certificate (Business License)

Under Title 5 of the City of Tulare Municipal Code, any person who conducts any business, trade, profession or occupation in the City must first obtain a Business Tax Certificate (Business License).  

Time for Processing of Business Tax Certification applications:

M-F 8:30-4:30pm
411 E Kern Avenue, Tulare, CA

If applying for a Business Tax Certificate for a new business, you may be subject to an inspection by the Building Inspection and Fire Departments.
