The Youth Center houses many local youth-serving organizations to serve our community.  Many local youth organizations utilize the gymnasium for basketball and volleyball practice as well as cheer practice. There is also a small conference room that is available for rentals.  This facility does not have a kitchen.  No food is allowed in the gym, but the lobby can be used if food is brought in.  If you are interested in reserving the conference room or the gymnasium, reservations are only accepted at the Parks and Recreation Office, 830 S. Blackstone Street, during regular business hours.  You can inquire about availability by calling (559)684-4310.

Fees to reserve Conference Room:  $25 per hour for non-profit groups
                                                          $25 per hour for private groups

Fees to reserve Gymnasium:  $60 per hour for non-profit groups
                                                $75 per hour for private groups

All reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. The Tulare Youth Center is available for rentals from 7 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday and 8:00 a.m. - 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Refundable Deposit for all rooms: (required to make a reservation): 
                                                   $150 for groups of less than 150 people
                                                   $300 for groups of more than 150 people
                                                    (no private dances allowed)

Deposit paid is separate from rental fees due. Cash or check deposit will be returned by mail no later than four(4) weeks following the event provided there is no damage to the building or additional use charges. Credit card deposits will be refunded the next business day following your function.  No refund of security deposit will be granted to applicants who cancel any reservation once the agreement has been issued.

A building attendant will be present during entire function.
