 Park Facilities

Parks Make Life Better Logo

The Tulare Parks and Recreation Department has many park facilities available to rent for many occasions. To rent a picnic shelter or ballfield, visit the Parks and Recreation office at 830 S. Blackstone Street, inside the Meitzenheimer Community Center. Reservation fees vary from $50 to $95 per shelter. You can also check online to see if a date is available. Go to: https://apm.activecommunities.com/tulareparksandrec and click on facilities.

Water Play Areas

Del Lago Park and Mulcahy Park feature water play areas.  Water splash pad hours will begin Memorial Day weekend and will run Friday-Sunday and holidays from 12-7pm.  Due to the drought, the water play areas will not be open the rest of the week.   If mandated, hours may be modified or there is a possibility no splash pads will be turned on. Water Splash pads will be closed for the season beginning the day after Labor Day.
